Be Part of the Magic

Calling Creatives, Workshop Weavers & Dream Builders
Would you like to help shape the magic of this year’s Lughnasadh gathering? We’re inviting contributions from those who feel inspired to run a workshop, offer a skill, or help bring our camp theme — Dragons, Wales & Healing the Land — to life. Whether your gift is storytelling, craft, music, movement, ritual, or something entirely unique, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a community-created camp, and your energy, ideas, and offerings are what make it truly special. Come be part of the dream!

The Wide game & Childrens activities

Join the Quest: Be Part of the Dragon-Themed Wide Game!
Calling All Volunteers, Creatures, and Keepers of the Realm!

This Lughnasadh, The Heart of Yew invites you to step into the story and help bring our Dragon-Themed Live Action Quest to life!

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers, storytellers, nature lovers, and mystical mischief-makers to play characters and help guide young adventurers through an epic full-day immersive game. With dragons to awaken, druids to guide, potions to brew, puzzles to solve, and secrets to keep — this is a day of magic, laughter, and community collaboration.

Roles include:

The Dragon Lady – wise and enchanting narrator of the quest

The Druid & Herbalist – keepers of ancient plant wisdom

Elves, Fey & Tricksters – riddlers and guardians of forest lore

The Guardian – a fearsome protector of courage and truth

The Crystal Keeper, Blacksmith, and other mystical beings – who each hold a piece of the journey

Whether you’re helping behind the scenes or stepping into a role, your presence brings the world to life. Volunteers will be supported with scripts, prop suggestions, and space to add their own flair and magic. No acting experience necessary — just heart, imagination, and a love for community storytelling.

💚 Be part of something unforgettable. Help weave wonder, support wild play, and make this Lughnasadh a festival to remember.

Other ways to be involved

There are many ways to be part of the magic beyond workshops — from helping with site set-up, supporting in the kitchen, tending the fire, or simply holding space for others. If you feel inspired to contribute in any way, big or small, we’d love to hear from you.
